April 2022 update

Dear all,

We are aware of the general frustration and difficulty it is to get through to the practice and would like to apologise. We are experiencing a very high volume of calls and also very high demand for appointments, therefore the reasons for difficulty getting through, coupled with a staff shortage. Please bear with us, we are in the process of recruiting staff.

We are also reviewing our appointment system in order to increase the appointments available for patients to book. However, once we implement the new system, we will appreciate you understand, when booking an appointment you will be advised that it is to deal with one problem only. Please bear in mind, if you do have multiple issues that urgently need addressing, kindly inform the team, so that they can try to allocate you a more appropriate appointment.

Due to the rising difficulty we are experiencing monitoring the various methods of communicating with the practice, we are discontinuing the online messaging service from Monday 4th April 2022. Please email the surgery: broccg.addingtonroadsurgery@nhs.net, use our econsult, or call as normal.

Patients can now book directly into a Phlebotomy clinic run by the BGPA here at Addington Road Surgery by going on the website: Swiftqueue.com, on the Bromley GP Alliance website: Home – Bromley GP Alliance: providing a GP service for Bromley patients,  call the number on their blood request form 0203 930 0245 Monday – Friday (08:00-15:00)or by following the link below

Online Appointment Healthcare Platform | Swiftqueue.

Please be aware, you will have to register if a first time user. This is an independent provider so we cannot book appointment at the Surgery.

We will provide further updates soon.

Thank you

Practice Manager
