Flu Clinics are now available

The Flu season has arrived and we will be inviting all our clinically at risk and over 65 year old patients to book an appointment for the flu vaccine.

Our first Saturday clinic is the 26th September 2020 (full), followed by the 3rd (full), 10th and 17th October 2020.

If you receive an invitation by SMS, email or letter, or do fall in the clinically at risk category, please call the Surgery to book a suitable appointment. If we do not have a mobile number or email address for you, kindly contact the surgery and update your details.

You will be required to wear a face covering, and attend at your allocated time. We must adhere to the government social distancing guidance and therefore measures have been put in place, so we ask that you attend at the time you have booked preferably by yourself unless you require assistance.

Appointments for vulnerable patients with disabilities will be allocated between 12.00 – 1.00pm on each Saturday clinic.

Please note that people in the 50-64-year old age group will not be vaccinated until November and December, providing there is sufficient vaccine, and no appointments will be offered for this age group until then. This is to ensure that those who are most at risk are vaccinated first.  If you are 50-64 and you are in one of the other groups which is eligible for the flu vaccination, for example you have a health condition which puts you at risk from the flu, you will be invited earlier.

Thank you

The Practice Manager

Please note: these clinics are ONLY for the flu vaccination.

We are likely to add clinics separately for pnemonia and shingles vaccination.  Please continue to check the website for updated information.
